ANNOUNCEMENTS AND UPCOMING EVENTS:
Thursday, May 7, 6:30PM – Jennifer is giving a free talk with Heather’s help on “The Dos and Don’ts of Native Plant Gardening” at Lebanon Library.
Between early May and mid-June (Dates and Times TBA) Jennifer will host a potting party of the Milk-jug seedlings. We will also gone on day-trip to Nasami Farm in Deerfield Mass with a stop at Yankee Candle.
Saturday, June 20, 10AM-12PM – Ashford Natchaug Event (in celebration of Ashford Waterways) at Ashford Senior Housing, 25 Tremko Lane, Ashford (near the tennis courts). Sponsored by Ashford Conservation Commission, there will be tours of the pathway to Mount Hope river from the Senior Center. Ashford Pollinator Pathway will have a table set up at the entrance of the trail with info and seedling give-aways, and anyone in PP who would like to help out is welcome .
Saturday, June 27, 10AM-4PM – Art’s Council’s Summer’s Palette, at Westford Hill Distillers, 196 Chatey Road, Ashford. As with above, we’ll have our usual table set up, info, seedling give-aways and anyone who would like to come help out is welcome.
Saturday, July 11, 2-5PM – Ashford Day-lily Festival, Westford Hill Distillers, 196 Chatey Road, Ashford. This event will involve garden tours of Margie Chatey’s mother-in-law’s antique Day-lily garden.
Monday, October 5, 7PM – Jennifer is giving a free talk with Heather’s help on “The Dos and Don’ts of Native Plant Gardening” for the Quiet Corner Garden Club.
